As demands of high availability, efficient work and fast measures steadily increases when problems occur, Trancel offer CMS (Conveyor Management System), a solution invaluable to help in order to manage all of this.

The application is a PC based system, usage- and maintenance system, which offers a whole range of functions in order to help operators, maintenance personnel and engineers in the manner of operating highly, automated plants or units.

The CMS system can contain anything from one centrally placed workstation, to a complete LAN with client/server solution including backup systems and/or redundancy. 
The application is built from plant unique images, based on assembly drawings from AutoCAD. This gives a good reality attachment of the function and each units physical placement.
The result of this is that it gives a simple way of orientation trough the images in a logical way. 
CMS shows and administrates functions of the plant. These functions can be filtered so that different personnel categories can see the parts that they are interested in at the present time. 

As an example, all connected Profibus and AS-i networks can be diagnosed and monitored down to each local module. Also each component as sensors, valves, motors, etc can be diagnosed and shown for their physical position in the plant.

Connection towards master systems can be done through direct database access, which gives a simple and flexible solution that is easy to extend and update 
To the CMS-system there are several options available to get a complete SCADA system, which has a given place in any complex automation unit.
