Automation

Within the electrical/control automation field, we can deliver everything from service and smaller alteration jobs to complete solutions for projects, such as pre-studies, design specifications only and function descriptions, actual design drawings, programming, cabinet construction and commissioning, in short a complete commitment for a complete automation solution. Everything is done according to the clients own specifications and standards and also with a guarantee of functionality.

Our department consists of highly competent personnel with long experience, also from field work. 
We have a good reputation among our customers, and our goal is, to always create a well functioning solution, not only in the functionality of the machine, but also by focusing on that the plant shall be easy to use, serve and reset for operators and maintenance personnel. 

This is accomplished by a well specified function description where the client is invited to participate in the layout and also through focusing on fault handling, safety, reset functions, location of operators interfaces etc.

Our personnel are experienced in working independently with a high degree of freedom and own decision making, which has proven to be really important during, not at least, time limited start up periods.

In the past, the electrical department has mainly worked with projects involving machinery designed and installed by Trancel but, since some years back, we take on separate tasks/assignments within electrical and control/automation and today we have experience from electrical design and automation of various types of processes and machinery.
As the level of automation within our field, pulp and paper, often is very high, we do not hesitate in taking on the challenge of a difficult or complicated project. 

Early we noticed the demand of easy manageable and easy grasped PC based solutions, and we have since 1995 sold our CMS-concept, a SCADA function which among other things replaces the traditional operators display and other visual tools.

CMS provides means for the ultimate solution, everything from interfacing Millwide Systems, visualising all equipment within a plant down to status of separate sensors, and on-line display of current interlocking functions in control software. Read more about this under CMS.
