About us
Trancel is a privately owned SME company that was founded and registered in Göteborg, Sweden 1977 by three technicians working in the material handling business. Göteborg is still the hometown of the company.
The main business of Trancel Systems is material handling systems for the pulp and paper industry worldwide.
Systems takes on part projects as well as turnkey projects with it's own in house capacity for mechanical, electrical and software engineering. Electrical equipment is also made in-house by Trancel technicians.
Final shop assembly of machinery and shop testing before deliveries are made by Trancel's own technicians who also perform the installation supervision, commissioning and startup at the customer's site.
Trancel is an innovative company with several patents. Significative for the company business is to solve the logistics in the customer’s material handling with new custom made technics.
As a result of the technical solutions Trancel have delivered well operating equipment that have given them several new patents.
One example is Stora Enso that invited Trancel for the loading and unloading of the new SECU system that today carry Stora Enso paper production from Sweden to the port of Zeebrugge in Belgium for distribution across Europe. One of the components in the solution for the SECU system was one of Trancel's today patented products that have become a great intrest in the automatic loading/unloading system named the “Loadmate®”. The “Loadmate®” has become an increasing business, not only for the pulp and paper industry but also for goods distribution and logistics in general.
As a result of Trancel's success with some of its unique products, important agreements has been entered with partners all over the world. The earliest and most extensive relation is in force since 1989 with MARUISHI Co; Ltd, Fuji, Japan. Maruishi is granted sales and manufacturing licenses for Trancel's unique reel wrapping system and automatic loading system (LOADMATE®) in most of the Asian countries.
Trancel on the other hand has the sales and certain manufacturing rights (electric cabinets) to Maruishi's successful automatic ream wrapping machine NM 1400 in the Nordic countries.
Trancel Restatic is a modern and complete technical company with a broad knowledge within handling of material on a roll, foremost cutting and roll conversion. The company have worked against the paper and conversion industry for 20 years and are since 2006 a part of the Trancel group.
Trancel Restatic have our own production of standard machines but works from customer needs and wishes, therefore we mostly offer special adapted machines and customer unique solutions. Within Trancel Restatic a constant developing of machines is in progress and particularly automation systems for applications within paper industry and printing business.
The many years of experience and collected knowledge has led to several own patents of solutions in machines. The company started its business in Åmål in the 80’s with manufacturing of equipment for anti-static systems and web cleaners, but the business expanded soon to different types of machines and system solutions for a wider market.
Since 1996 the company is situated in Göteborg.
Trancel Actipac has a tailor-made solution for all branches of industry. Our special knowledge - shrink wrapping and pallet handling. Our employees are skilled professionals with many years in the industry.
Development of units and systems. Design- and project coordination. Manufacturing and assembling. Start-up and commissioning. After-sales service including a well sorted stock of spares. More than 400 systems supplied in Sweden and abroad.
Trancel Actipac is carrying out services both on their own deliveries as well as on older equipment of different manufactures.
